Casa Piri Piri in Erkelenz

In Corona times you can order and pick up and that works really very well. On time very friendly nice, in an Asian restaurant in Erkelenz we experienced it differently. The takeaway food is just great, delicious.

Very cozy, although it looks so "simple" from the outside That food is prepared quickly and with a lot of love, at least that's how it tastes :) Big portions, satisfactory for the price. With 2 people (main course and drinks) just under 55 €

If you like prawns, you should treat yourself to a kilo here, highly recommended.

Very good Portuguese food. At the weekend I recommend you to reserve a table, as it is very well attended! Prices perfectly fine. Staff friendly. Unfortunately, you wait a little longer for your drinks. Hence a point deduction. Would love to come back.

Gambas, Gambas, Gambas! For lovers of the particularly good Gambas, this is probably a place that fulfills every wish. The prawns are always fresh and hot from the kitchen. In addition to the high quality of prawns, the sauce is a culinary dream. The restaurant is in a family run and you can tell with every fiber. So warm, affectionate and warm, like at home, I have not had it for a long time in a restaurant. From me and my company a definite recommendation with 5+ stars!

Quality of the food: 1a. Flexibility of the staff - also school grade 1. We were as a company with 18 people on site - the food was served for all persons almost at the same time. All in all, perfect. Thank you for the nice evening ?

Good but advisable to book. We arrived on a Friday evening at 6pm without a booking and were given the choice of waiting until 7pm or having a table on the terrace at the front. We chose to eat immediately but there are two downsides to being outside; one is that people come outside to smoke, the second is that the only view is of "Mega Fun" (we decided it is a bierkeller). For food we chose the speciality 4 course meal - a salad with one rib and one sardine, a plate of shell-on prawns in piri-piri sauce, a small plate of grilled fish (sea-bass and salmon) served with crisps, a small plate of meat or a dessert. The ribs were rated as good, likewise the prawns and sauce. The fish was beautifully cooked and the crisps were freshly made. We each chose a different dessert and shared but, to be honest, being made in advance, they were bland and unremarkable. The food plus a couple of beers came to 65 euros. In summary, good quality food in the main and friendly service but mains are not cheap and you may need to book ahead.
